What is a manhole boot connector?

The short answer

A manhole boot connector is a flexible rubber boot for sealing pipe to manhole and precast structure entries, producing a positive watertight seal between the pipe and the structure.

The line covers sanitary and stormwater systems and pipe sizes from small laterals up to 65 inch large diameter pipe: QUIK-LOK with its built-in clamp, the heavy wall Z-LOK, Z-LOK STM for large diameter and stormwater, and the G3 BOOT SYSTEM. Frequently asked questions about boot connectors

Can A-LOK boot connectors be installed at the job site?

A-LOK Boot Connectors can be installed into concrete structures in the plant, or with a sleeve for cast-in-place at the job site.

Can the take-down clamp be fastened from inside the structure?

The unique bi-directional design of Z-LOK permits the take-down clamp to be fastened from either the inside or the outside of the structure.

Can boot connectors be used with corrugated pipe?

Yes. The Z-LOK STM connector is available for 13 inch to 65 inch pipes, suited for sanitary applications using smooth wall pipe or corrugated pipe with a factory installed smooth-over sleeve, and stormwater applications with corrugated or smooth wall pipe.
